Things to Know in Customizing Buttons

Buttons have existed in the past decade to simply express a person's perspective, opinion, stand, and even encouraging quotes. And over the years I have noticed some features that is quite common in most buttons that may serve helpful for you if you would want to have a customized button for yourself. Also those buttons that quite appealed are quite simple, bold and straight to the point.

If you were to design your own customized button, think your button as portable billboard that you can bring almost everywhere. Take note that you only have 5 seconds to catch a person's attention, and another 5 seconds for them to read your button. Make your message be clear and concise, that your readers will be able to read it in just a couple of seconds or so. Also don't make your text and your button itself be small in size. In making your message make your fonts be larger for people to easily read it from a moderate distance. Compared to small and thin in size fonts they are quite harder to actually. Remember your target are not 12 year old kids who likes to read comic books. And with that in mind do not use Comic Sans or other small fonts as your default font choice for your buttons.

And when it comes to color, well this might be difficult at first. The color you choose may be pleasing for you but not to others. Honestly, it is not wrong to choose a color scheme that you like, but, you may want to make sure that your message will swallowed by the color. And to that keep a simple and safe scheme of color. And if you want some help, you may ask anyone that is on to art that can suggest you regarding on what colors to use. This site has more details.

Of course you want your message to really stand out from your button. Make sure to consider the actual size of your font. A lot of people think what they actually see on their monitor screen would be the actual size of their design. Remember a one inch button would be about a size of a quarter in your monitor screen. On smaller buttons use bold fonts that will be visible enough and is easy to read. Thus, a much clearer font would be enough to catch a person attention while passing by over you.

Remember to consider these things in making a customized button.
